Things you should know about us

You can get married here in stunning rustic style and then move on to another venue for the rest of your day.

Or you can stay here after your ceremony to eat, drink and party.

Alternatively, you can marry elsewhere – including the village church which is a short walk away – and then come to the farm to receive your guests and enjoy the rest of the day.

Wedding Barn Interior

Our style is truly rustic and we always bring trees, ivy and flowers into the barns.
The bride processes to the aisle through a birch forest. As far as possible, we use flowers from local growers and our décor, including table decorations, is very pretty and without pretension. Everywhere we can, we bring the outside in.

We plan, organise and run your wedding after lots of discussion with you.
Each wedding is different and very, very special. Our staff know that: they work here because they love weddings. Between us all, we do everything so that you are fresh as a daisy for your big day.

Bridesmaids

We organise catering or you can bring your own caterers in, as long as they are professional, regulated and fully insured.
We offer every style of meal, from bargain picnics to four course meals.

If you supply your own drinks, corkage is £5/head.

Old Michelmersh Farm is at the heart of a community. Villagers love our weddings – and we give a little love back by always finishing, without fail, at 10.30pm and asking everyone to leave the site by 11pm.
Sorry, there really is no way around this. But our close of day is well-handled and you can be sure that yours will be one of those rare weddings which ends as sweetly as it began.

Every wedding is different and every price is different but here’s a rough guide:
to marry here with your own special style on a summer Saturday, followed by reception, meal, speeches and then dancing for 100+ guests, prices start at around £9000.
That includes absolutely everything except food, alcohol and the bridal bouquet.
